Two More Powerful Than One: Instagram Couples to Watch

The power of influencer marketing lies in telling the story of a brand. And there is no better way to share a rich story than through a dynamic couple. Travel, parties, weekend brunches, weekends staying in – there are numerous ways to set up a narrative that is much more engaging to carry out with someone else.

Since the original Instagram duo of Hannah Bronfman and Brendan Fallis, who cemented their relationship through the social media platform (#Sundaysareforlovers) and were the brand’s darlings for three years, there are more exciting up-and-coming social couples to watch for these days. Let us introduce two who we’ve had the pleasure of working with to keep on your radar.

Isaac & Jenny

Isaac Hindin-Miller & Jenny Albright

Last spring we worked with Man Repeller columnist and menswear blogger, Isaac Hindin-Miller of Isaac Likes (35K Followers) and his girlfriend, model and DJ Jenny Albright (16K Followers) on a campaign for Carven Parfums. Since then, we’ve seen them partner with numerous large brands including Ray Ban, Armani and Burberry.

In their recent Armani Exchange campaign they make even crossing the street in New York look fun. It’s challenging to create interesting content around fragrance, as it’s hard to evoke the product; audiences are sick of seeing pretty bottle shots or flat-lays. Jenny and Isaac created a sultry narrative around elements of the fragrances, shot by their friend and esteemed photographer Kat in NYC at the hip Hotel Indigo.

The fragrance was reflected in the story about them as a couple and the shots were beautiful. It also made sense for the content to be promoted on both Isaac’s and Jenny’s channels across several days, for cohesive brand messaging with a powerful effect.

Riley & Micha

Riley Harper & Michaela Wissen

This autumn we were thrilled to work with LA stuntman, motorcyclist and photographer, Riley Harper (70K Followers), and his Swedish photographer and influencer girlfriend, Michaela Wissen (51K Followers), on a campaign to support the launch of Bonobos’ athletic wear line, Good Sport.

They shot the campaign while in Maui for Riley’s sister’s wedding. This worked out perfectly, as Micha was able to shoot Riley in the clothes we wanted him to wear in the campaign, while Riley included his photography and look by shooting his younger brother, also a stuntman and surfer, Reid Harper (3.5K Followers).

On that note, Reid is also someone to look out for; we have no doubt he will be asked to participate in many more upcoming campaigns. Meanwhile, Riley and Micha have recently worked on an Armani Exchange Campaign, as well as an activation for Soho House. The Soho House shots make us want to buy a Global Membership ASAP!

Two really is more powerful than one, especially where influencer marketing is involved. There are so many Instagram couples arriving on the scene at the moment, but these are just two of our favourite to work with. Expect to see more from Isaac, Jenny, Micha and Riley in 2017…
